This is the Lagrange Saint Martin EVO5 V2.0. It a late 3rd gen jet that was upgraded in the 2000's as a 4th gen jet. the Concept came from the office of Lagrange Aviation in the early 1980's. It was then refined until the late 1980. For a 3rd gen it was quite advanced, but to reduce cost it used the EVO4 prototype's Radar, and it used a new engine which was fuel efficient but it was sloppy. The EVO5 was difficult to handle cause the engine sloppiness appeared on low stress, but as you pushed it it became reactive. The EVO5 was a plane hard to take in hand. In the late 1980's and early 90's the goal was to make a 4th gen fighter to replace the EVO3 and EVO5. They wanted a multirole. Came the EVO6 concept. AT the Sametime the EVO5 got equiped with new models with better Radar. Long story short, in the mid 1990's Revljir Military budget scandal imploded. The budget got smaller. The EVO6 devlopment got longer. Then in the 2000's when the EVO6 got out evryone was proud, but Lagrange presented the EVO5 v2.0, it could do evrything the EVO6 could do, just not exactly as good but still good enough. It used teh EVO6 radar and engine, it used it's Ifrared laser sensors. The EVO5 was cheaper then teh EVO6 also casue the spare part market already existed, the EVO5 v2.0.
Revljir has roughly 70 of them. All across Revlir. Will get replaced soon but slowly, by the EVO7. Criteria for the Busard StM EVO5 v2 where short runway, easy maintenance, only 3 to 5 experienced mechanics needed for basic maintenance (Like the first EVO5). It produce a lot of lift allowing heavy loading. It's was design with fly by wire and with the tail wing addition it is very agile. Finally it has a good radar and a great Infrared/Laser system, as well as pretty advanced (4th gen fighter standard) electronic warfare and missile jammer. Finally it's cheap to buy (now, because in the 2000's it was only slightly lower priced then the average 4th gen) and as all Lagrange it's cheap to run. Thanks to @icd31 for the music.
