Instructions

-Welcome to Hegale, the planet that's name is absolutely definitely certainly not a Hollow Knight reference! -In this simulation you can see Hegale, the star it orbits, Caeruleum, and Hegale's moons, Magnus Lapis, Corpes Glacies, and Crepitu. This simulation is not to scale, as if it was, Hegale and every one of it's moons would be instantly obliterated but the humongous amounts of radiation coming from the giant blue star. -Click on the planet to learn some statistics of the planet, or scroll down for a more in depth look at Hegale. -Hegale is 75 light years from Caeruleum. This is REALLY far away, which allows it to be somewhat habitable. Caeruleum's radiation is intense. -Hegale is also a gas giant made of mostly Methane, Helium, and Hydrogen. These gasses together give it it's teal-green color. -It's axis is 35 degrees, and that gives it hotter summers and colder winters. -Hegale's rotation is only 18 hours. That's really short, giving it only about 9 hours of daylight. This varies though, because of seasons and whatnot. -One revolution is 274.125 days. This is measured by the length of a day on Hegale, not on Earth. It has a leap year just like us, but every 8 years versus the 4 on Earth. -Hegale's 3 moons (WoF reference!!!?!?!?!) each have very different conditions. Magnus Lapis is rocky, with lava filled craters. Corpes Glacies is half ice, half water. The side facing towards Caeruleum is always water, the side facing away is always frozen solid. Crepitu is an irregularly shaped floating rock with a very thick cloud of gas surrounding it. It may appear green, but that is just the gas, the moon is really a weird gray-brown color. -Caeruleum is a blue star. These have short lifespans compared to other stars.
