I got interested in Tamagotchis when I was 8 years old, my mom told me about them, and I've been interested ever since! My first Tamagotchi was a Pac-Man Tamagotchi Nano, and I lost it in a ball pit at an indoor playground after only having it for a couple of months. The original one I had for 4 years before I bought any more, so it got really boring. Then I bought the Connection, which is one of my favorites, but I had always wanted to experience a color-screen Tamagotchi ever since I got the first, so I bought the rest! I remember being hooked on an ad for the Tamagotchi Pix Party, and I couldn't really get over wanting one until I did some research and found how expensive and rare they were just a few years later... but I did see one in a Target once. The only reason my parents didn't let me buy it is because they thought it had WiFi enabled features (which it doesn't) but I ended up getting the Uni anyway, which I love, so who really cares. If you do have an experience with the Pix, I would really like to know your feedback to see if it is worth buying one! And if you're curious on which one you should get from my experience... then I think the Uni is the best option if you're not restricted to WiFi and you don't care about a comparably large price and DLC. If those do matter, I recommend the Connection, which has some pretty cheap shell options, if you don't mind the black-and-white LCD that's honestly pretty hard to see unless you have perfect lighting. If you prefer a color screen, go with the Paradise, and if you want extremely basic gameplay under $25, the original or the Nano series would be your best option.
