busting aquarius myths bc im an aquarius myself ^^ ♒︎ myth #1 ⋆ they are cold and emotionless reality: i feel deeply but process emotions internally using logic. ♒︎ myth #2 ⋆ they are heartless loners reality: i love deep connection but i need a lot of alone time to recharge my social batteries. ♒︎ myth #3 ⋆ they are detached from reality reality: im a deep thinker who focuses on deep thoughts and possibilities. ♒︎ myth #4 ⋆ they are bad listeners reality: i listen carefully but i offer more logical solutions (i try so hard in my venting space project to help u guys btw) instead of more emotional ones, but im trying to sound more emotional. ♒︎ myth #5 ⋆ they cannot commit reality: i value independence but im extremely loyal when i find the right person. ♒︎ myth #6 ⋆ they are rebels without a cause reality: i break rules for progress, not for attention. ♒︎ myth #7 ⋆ they are unpredictable and flaky reality: i have a fixed zodiac sign, right? well then, i can be incredibly determined and a little stubborn. ♒︎ myth #8 ⋆ they are judgemental reality: i am highly open-minded but i hold firm personal boundaries (btw i do judge a lot sometimes especially at skl). ♒︎ myth #9 ⋆ they are know-it-alls reality: i love to share info, not show it off. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they are daydreamers and dont live in reality reality: yes i am a deep thinker but im also a sharp observer. see how it balances out? ♒︎ myth ⋆ they are blunt and mean reality: i value radical honesty. i prefer the truth over comforting lies and i try to be helpful, not hurtful. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they lack empathy reality: im actually an empathetic soul. instead i focus on fixing friendships and other things tho instead of the more emotional side. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they hate ppl reality: yes i do hate some ppl for my own reasons irl but i still love humanity as a whole but i just get drained, yk by small talk. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they change for everyone reality: i do change personalities just to kinda blend in bc ik what ppl are interested in or not but i never use my core identity to like fit in. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they are arrogant outcasts reality: im just hyper-independent. i dont want social acceptance- its just that ppl mistake that for pride or superiority. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they lack a competitive drive reality: im secretly competitive. but its not against other ppl. instead, its against my past achievements. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they are entirely immune to trends reality: i love trends! but i dont take them seriously. i just enjoy them ironically. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they never feel nostalgic reality: im more focused on the future, at least i try to. but i just get a little sensitive abt some past times that still raise me today. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they are chaotic, disorganised messes reality: i have an organised method to my madness. some aquarians may have a messy physical space but an organised mental space, but i have the opposite- a tidy physical space and a slightly chaotic mental space. ♒︎ myth ⋆ they hate routine and structure reality: im very organised. i have bang on routines and even though i sometimes go against other ppls rules, im still disciplined on habits and specific ways of doing things. thats it <3
