Time sensitive" "I have a letter I've written to my theatre director this year in which I thank him for being like the kind father I never had, come out as trans, and ask him if I can use his middle name as my own. It is also the middle name of a graduating senior who aims to pursue theatre, so I said i would like to share the middle name with two famous broadway actors one day. I felt this seemed like a kind thing last night when I wrote it, but now I am not sure. Is it weird to take their middle name? This director is not coming back next year, and it is the last day of school. I want this name to continue on, but I don't want it to seem weird. Do I omit that part of the letter? Keep it? Is it bad to take the name? If I omit that part, do I take the name without mentioning it or find a different middle name? For anyone curious, the name is Orion. Thank you."
