Just a project putting stuff from https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/50727746 together and have a draft of the Grifftopia RPG. Controls: WASD / Arrow Keys / Mobile Joystick - move (Attention worldbuilders: I think you can remix this project, if people agree that this project is reasonable to continue building upon, and use the editor tools below to expand the world. Here the Player can move on green (grass) tiles, but not on blue (water) or brown (tree I think) tiles, so replacing and adding more grass tiles therefore expands the space the Player can move upon) Editor Controls (no mobile controls, worldbuilding will probably be done elsewhere): P- start/stop editing map 0- switch edit mode I/O- Cycle between tile or object types L- Set the enemy group U- Switch tile or object type to the selected object [Press space key or tap text box to continue dialogue] Click the 'settings' button on the homepage to change volume (I don't think it actually changes anything), or for auto-save (no saving yet), and mobile controls (0-OFF, 1-ON) The 'musicroom' button brings you to the current list of songs. Hover over the buttons and they'll tell you the controls (Izzy did that). The songs that are used in game here are Where It Begins (lizunamaru) on the homepage, No Worries Fixed (Sohta_kun) outside of battle, and I Didn't Start It, I Swear (lizunamaru) and Microwavable Magic Battery (lizunamaru) in battle 'new game' button to start the actual game 'load game' button to paste in save code (hopefully will be an added feature later on) 'credits' to show credits (just a screenshot of the main studio's description), click the image to hide it The 'story' button brings you to a list of [title], [where it can be found on the project page], [project link], and a copy-pasted text of the whole thing in case something happens to the project it came from. (Also I wasn't attempting to put the stories in order, writers can fix it; and you click the green flag to hide the list). Triple click the link or text to highlight and copy it In game (outside battle), there are two buttons: map and quests. Hover over the map to show a map, click it to change the map (there's multiple designs), and drag cursor off the button to hide it (same controls for quests button, except that it shows quests that I didn't do anything with) In the game, if you click on the chest it will show the current designed items. Click the image to show more, and click somewhere else to hide it. Click on the buildings to show their interior design (main programmers can make it so the player can go inside). Click the screen to hide it In battle, the only thing I added that's different from the original by Izzy is the inventory. Click the inventory button and it will open a list and ask you which item to use (I didn't add in working items so just type anything and the list should hide, if it doesn't try clicking inventory again and doing the same thing. Also it doesn't seem to work on your third turn (third party member) so just click attack or special).
Stuff I messed up which I'll leave to the main programmers to fix: objects on map that I added not hiding when player moves away, etc. other stuff that you may notice Changelog: [May 25, 2026 (the day after I typed everything else here): Healthbars should now work normally] [May 25, 2026: Updated soundtrack, thanks charredStuff for the remix] [May 26, 2026: Got a text dialogue engine working, which I remixed in https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1324607108/.
