Being announced around 3 months prior to the Rakonian independence, CEVI-1 worries many Rakonians. It affects vital parts of raccoon culture, including washing food with water, and eating fish and insects. However, infection through contact is unlikely between raccoons, as they are not social creatures. Nonetheless, the heavy commerce and machinery, alongside non-raccoon citizens like humans or umans, has pushed the King to make a decision. As part of King Jacob Julien III's various decrees on the June 1 Enacting, he has passed important measures on the control of this virus. SECTION 1: SANITATION DEMANDS (1) All entities distributing any form of edible products are required to be inspected by the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFCP). (2) Vodokanals are required to provide safe and edible water to all citizens, institutions, services or entities, through chemical decontamination, disinfection, and filtration. (3) Public spaces are required to have weekly inspections and sanitation organized by public health organizations and cleaning services chosen by local authorities. SECTION 2: FOOD TRANSMISSION (1) An immediate quarantine is put on all fish and insect harvest, and it is to be taken to sterilized subterranean government-funded facilities. (2) Commerce shall be more heavily regulated by local authorities to avoid further virus transmission. (3) Local or poorer businesses selling fish or insect cuisine are given a compensation fee to halt all exchange. If not compliant, their assets are to be taken away. SECTION 3: INFECTION THRU INTERACTION (1) Cheap, effective rebreathers provided by the government are given to healthcare organizations for distribution. This light, ornate and transparent technology covers the nose and mouth, using a small HEPA filter to block out 99.97% of microscopic particles and increasing air quality. These rebreathers vary in size to fit raccoons and humans alike. (2) All cargo entering from the Black Sea or Uman border checkpoints is to be sanitized. (3) Non-essential travels between Rakonian provinces are heavily discouraged. (4) The use of masks and standing 8 feet apart is encouraged. SECTION 4: POLITICAL ACTION (1) Health institutions are granted money by the government when dealing with a case of CEVI-1, and patient costs are cut. (2) The Rakonian Health Institution is officially established to work alongside BRIN (Biological Research Institute of Novorossiysk) scientists to study the virus mutation, alongside for future projects regarding national health. *Note I am not trying to get rid of CEVI-1 but this precaution is only a response to it for the safety of civilians within the country.
