✰---DUSK---✰ Character info: -She/Her -Sandwing/Nightwing -Future sight -Sandwing Barb -Heat-producing scales ꧁-Backstory-꧂ (Hundreds of years before Darkstalker, Beetlewings/Leafwings still around. World is at war.) Her mother (Fennec) was the sole heir to the throne of the sandwings, and her father (Soaringhawk) the son of a Nightwing noble. Her parents met at a delegation meeting over borders and boundaries and whatnot (the usual). Anyways, they fell in love, blah blah blah, and eventually word of it reached Fennec's mother, Queen Adder. Now, seeing how at this point all 9 tribes are at war, and Queen Adder doesn't exactly love the idea of half-tribe/hybrid dragons, her daughter's relationship is crushing, and forbidden. She sends guards to catch/arrest them, and they succeed. However, at this point, Fennec has already laid her egg (Dusk). They are brought to the Sandwing palace, and are both thrown in the dungeons. Queen Adder announces that her daughter has died, killed by Soaringhawk. She does not tell anyone about the relationship- or the egg. However, she does say that she had another, younger daughter, that she had kept a secret- the thing is, that "younger daughter" is actually Dusk, or, the egg. No one is ever allowed to see her except the queen herself, and as far as Dusk knows, she is a weirdly colored Sandwing princess, the daughter of Queen Adder. The small visions she has she passes off as "weird dreams." Queen Adder would've destroyed the egg, but because Dusk was her only "worthy" heir, she couldn't. Also the king (Buzzard) is dead. Of course, Queen Adder hires a guard to always stay right by Dusk's side and never let anyone see her- that guard is another hybrid, (Skywing-Sandwing) named Ember. Ember was found by one of Queen Adder's soldiers years back, and Queen Adder soon figured out that she was a hybrid. At this point, she has just thrown her daughter in the dungeon. So, she made Ember promise that if Queen Adder didn't expose her and kill her, that she would eternally protect Dusk from harm and the eyes of other dragons. Ember knows she's a hybrid, even though Dusk does not. If Ember lets out the secret or fails at her job, she dies. Ember is like five years older than Dusk. Dusk tries to be friends with her, but Ember resents her a little bit. However, in the end, they end up escaping together with another band of hybrids trying to stop the war. THE END!! *Queen Adder quietly throws a tantrum*
