The remnants of the Czechoslovak army gathered their remaining strength and managed to break through one of the encirclements. However, the mad government of Czechoslovakia had already made its final decision: if Czechoslovakia falls, it won't belong to anyone. Along their paths of retreat, the Armed Forces of Czechoslovakia are mass-executing their own civilian population, demolishing infrastructure, and burning down their own cities. They are detonating the remaining nuclear facilities and launching dirty bombs and chemical weapons—striking not only at Poland, but at absolutely all of their neighbors (with the sole exception of the Central European Federation). Government aircraft are indiscriminately massacring their own people from the skies, as the mad Dictator of Czechoslovakia signed his final decree ordering the total annihilation of all infrastructure, ensuring the Polish army is left with nothing but ashes. Amidst the ruins, only scattered groups of refugees and hollow survivors remain. The Supreme Dictator of Czechoslovakia has shot himself dead... Small groups of surviving locals who chose not to flee have already begun forming their own self-defense alliances to protect themselves against bandits and the rogue remnants of the Czechoslovak army. The Carpathian Ukrainians have declared their independence, even though their main city of Uzhhorod was completely destroyed. Meanwhile, the Saxon Germans who managed to survive the genocide are beginning to deliberate whether they want total independence or integration into the Central European Federation. Scattered remnants of the populace, calling themselves the self-proclaimed "Government of Free Czechoslovakia," have decided to urgently dispatch a peace delegation to Poland to negotiate an immediate and unconditional surrender.
