I was bored so I decided to do this tag thingy. Credit to @davepeta for the original. Also I'm obsessed with this music now so thank you for that xD Gender Question Thingymabobers: 1. How do you self-identify your gender, and what does that definition mean to you? ➳ I identify myself as a female. Yes, I am a 100% tomboy still. I enjoy things that most girls wouldn't enjoy, such as shooting games, RPGs, being lazy, and overall just acting like a guy, but for some reason I still identify myself as female. I'm not afraid to do something that would be not "lady-like" because I really don't care. Just because I produce more estrogen instead of testosterone doesn't mean I was born in this world to be a slave of the kitchen, ya sexists. ;') 2. What pronouns honor you? ➳ I prefer She/Her. I don't really like it when people refer to me has They/Them xD 3. Describe the style of clothing that you most often wear. ➳ I usually wear solid color shirts, basically unisex clothing. 4. Talk about your choices with body hair. How do you style your hair? Do you have facial hair? What do you choose to shave, or choose not to shave? ➳ I usually part my hair so that the right side has more than the left. I've never shaved in my life, and it's really awkward during PE when I'm in the locker room everyone has like absolutely no hair on their arms or legs, but I don't have bad body hair, it's just noticeable to the point that it feels awkward. I actually used to think shaving was beneficial to your actual body, but then my friend told me it was a social thing, so I decided to not do it since it's stupid. 5. Talk about cosmetics. Do you choose to wear makeup? Do you paint your nails? What types of soaps and perfumes do you use if any? ➳ NIP NOPE! I've never publicly worn makeup in my life. I've tried it once, but that was only in front of my cousin because she wanted to see me with lipstick. Other than that, I've never worn make up in my life. I find it very stupid that society teaches little girls that their face is ugly and that they have to buy products in order to make them feel more sociable. I was actually born with VERY long eye lashes, and almost every month at least one person asks me "What kind of mascara do you use?" I tell them I don't wear makeup and they look at me almost terrified. The ironic thing is my name means "a deer's eye" in Arabic, and deer's have long eye lashes. I always believed that my name was actually the thing that gave me long eye lashes xD 6. Have you experienced being misgendered? If so, how often? ➳ I have once, but I don't find it offensive. I could see why someone would misgender me. 7. Do you experience dysphoria? How does that affect you? ➳ It's weird, even though what I do is more "boyish" and not "lady-like" I still feel like a girl. I don't know why. 8. Talk about children. Are you interested in having children? Would you want to carry a child if that were an option for you? Do you want to be the primary caretaker for any children you may have? ➳ When I grow up, I want to adopt a child. Why create a child when there are millions that have been abandoned? 9. Talk about money. Is it important to you to provide for a family financially if you choose to have one? Is it important to you that you earn more than any partner you may have? Do you prefer to pay for things like dates? Are you uncomfortable when others pay for you or offer to pay for you? ➳ If I ever have a family, I want to make sure that my spouse and I work the exact same amount. I don't really care who pays, but I consider it an act of kindness if my spouse decides to pay, but if he doesn't I won't be mad. 10. Anything else you want to share about your experience with gender? ➳ Accept everyone, no matter who we are. Technically, we're all the same. We may not look it, but that's because we've evolved as humans. We're all the same species, the only difference is preference, something that we should all be accepting about. ;D
