Dressage with Pea Update The show season is here! We have been getting all our horses ready for the season here at Alpines, and one of our exciting news is that our school pony in retraining to eventing is showing at the Wildflower show, Pea! She’s been doing extremely well in training and hopefully she’ll have the same attitude in the show! We’ve been working a lot together on XC and a bit on show jumping because she has most experience in flat work/dressage. But today I thought we could work on a little harder flat work movements to prepare for the test in the beginning level of the show! Let’s just say today I was blown away by how well she did! On our last session in dressage, she spooked a lot blue to a coming storm, but today she was light in the mouth and was almost always perfect at the exercises! Sorry I haven’t been super active lately, I had a school overnight camping trip for a week plus loads of school work and test, but I’ll hopefully be more active from now on!
