V-11 stands for Volatile (a class for experiments) - 11 (11th volatile subject) ever since the lab got busted for experimenting on kids, the other locations holding experiments were revealed as well. Turns out theres a large chunk of the population thats mutated. They call these people 'Variants.' Vii was finally able to live freely, though people still stare at her or get nervous when they hear her classification. Most people still treat variants more like dangerous animals than normal humans. Because of this, they are legally required to carry identification listing their mutation type and risk classification at all times. For Vii it would be: Classification: Volatile Variant: Umbra
