Different weapons have different windups, damage, and range Block: Block an incoming swing to negate the damage and stagger your opponent, dealing 2 damage to them Dash: Dodge in the direction you are going Special: Powerful ability that is unique to each weapon. Blocking it only makes it deal less damage, but it will also stagger you. Watch out! Clash: If two Special moves collide, a clash starts. Mash your swing key to fill up your side of the bar. The loser of the Clash gets staggered and takes some damage, as well as putting their Special move on higher cooldown. If both weapons have ranged Specials, they are currently unable to Clash with each other. Sorry. However, a weapon with a melee Special can still clash with a weapon with a ranged Special
Keyboard only. idk if this is accurate to deepwoken I never played it Individual Weapons Guide: Fists: Starter weapon. Low range, but high damage. Special is a powerful but slow dash. Longer Cooldowns than sword. Get up close and deal as much damage as you can. Watch out for people parrying your Special with their own to force a Clash! Sword: Starter weapon. Higher range and speed, less damage and cooldowns. Special is a quick dash that bounces off walls and can easily be dodged. Stay at a medium range and threaten cornered enemies with your Special! Katana: Extremely high range, but high cooldowns. A "tipper" weapon, the farther away you hit your opponent with your swings, the more damage you do. Keep your distance and don't let them get up close. The Special fires three projectiles that each deal 6 damage. Use it to punish people wasting their dash or block! Hammer: Big windup but big damage. You'll need to bait out people's blocks, otherwise you won't have a good time. Your special causes you to spin really fast. Try to hit people into corners to deal as much damage as possible. Daggers: Extremely quick, with a much better dash that teleports you. The Special is many quick slices in front of you. Staff: An almost exclusively ranged weapon. Can only deal DOT damage through setting your opponent on fire. Your swing attack instead shoots out a fireball which can be blocked and deflected back at you. Your block has a Hitbox which sets people on fire briefly if they touch it.
