The TS-225-class troopship was built from 1910-1917, and 1937-46. 372 vessels were built of this class (150 first batch, 222 built second batch). These were simple troopships designed also as attack transports; thus they were designed for extreme survivability. The ships went out of service in the 1970s to the 2000s, but several were turned into cargo liners. Many of these ships remain in existence. One such ship, designated TS-269, was built in 1911, was loaned to the British as HMS TS-269, and saw service at the Gallipoli landing amongst others. It was returned in 1919 and was used as a ferry until Aquilla’s WW2 entry in 1941, when it resumed its troopship duties. It was deployed in multiple amphibious operations, including Okinawa, Normandy, and Iwo Jima. The ship was decommissioned in 1974 and laid up in a small shipyard in Perry. After the takeover of Willermah and the seceding of Perry, the ship was quickly seized and restored, being converted into a command ship. It was designated the flagship of the newly formed navy of Perry in 1982, sailing under the name PWS Perry TS-269. It was then moored off the coast. It was notably present for the Bucephalus Explosion, the Battle off Onager Cliffs, the 1989 expedition of the ANS Vainamoinen, and many other engagements. In 2017 the act to reunite Perry with Aquilla was signed onboard. The ship left service in 2026, and now is undergoing conversion to a museum. Troopships designation TS-519 and TS-520 were experimental catamarans based on the TS-225 hull. Both were built in 1915 and out of service in 2025. They are not considered part of this class. Displacement: 15,000 tons Length: 550 ft Speed: 20 kts Crew: 55 Passenger capacity: 1,500 Armament: x2 3-inch, x15 20 mm AA gun, x3 40 mm AA gun
All by me Somewhat inspired by the Harris-class attack transport
