Phew all done with drawing for the year yall. Some of these pieces in proud of…others not so much. For example my self portrait it’s so bad LOL it doesn’t even look like me. Anyways take a couple seconds to click through the slideshow! 1) Elements and Principles Had to use three of the elements and principles of art to create this piece. Very easy and self explanatory. 2) Negative Space Chair We were not allowed to draw the outline of the chair, only the space around it and once it’s colored in, what’s left is the object. 3) Pen Still Life This was the modified contour project where we drew several nature items in and configuration we wanted. 4) Shadow Shape Self Portrait Getting the feel of blocking out basic shadows and highlights. Was the project before shading. 5) 1st vs Recent Self Portrait Holy moly I actually hated this drawing so much. But it’s fully shaded with charcoal and realistic vs the much more stylized portrait I did at the beginning of the year. 6) Phantom of the Opera Portrait This has got to be my best portrait ever, it’s literally copy paste of the photo. I am so proud, it took two weeks to make. If you haven’t watched The Phantom of the Opera you need to immediately.
