"Boyfriend’s Multiverse: Arcade Attack!" was Boyfriend Inc's Touhou-inspired bullet hell shoot em' up game, it was released to Arcades in 2018 only in Japan and North America, it was developed by Boyfriend Inc. & PinkFlower. Back in 2017 Boyfriend Inc. commissioned 30 grand to PinkFlower to team up and make a big game with them. Before this, Boyfriend Inc gave a deal with Pinkflower to own these PinkFlower style Boyfriend sprites. You can upgrade your weapon by collecting powerups or teaming up with other Boyfriends to help you, the more boyfriends you get the stronger you shoot. The game was similar to Touhou and Jaleco's Game Tengoku/The Game Paradise, and of course, A sequel to "Go for it! Boyfriend!" for the 20th anniversary of the original game. There are five difficulties; Beginner (Infinite Lives), Normal (Infinite Continues, 5 Lives), Expert (9 Continues, 3 Lives, Stronger Enemies), Master (3 Continues, 1 Life, Stronger Enemies), and Brutal (No Continues, 1 Life, Stronger Enemies, No 1 UPS and Extra Continues either).
