It's been a while... For those who know me, this may come to be a surprise, but first, I'll introduce myself to the plenty of new folks unaware of this. I am CartographersMaps. I was an original member of the PU, and a manager for quite some time, at least until my long hiatus. I formerly made and updated many of the maps, and was the host for a few weeks before I fell off the face of the earth. That is... until now, with my return. I was on a long hiatus, due to pressure from school, sports, and applying for private schooling (as well as acting (yes I'm a drama kid)). I've been gone for a long time, and naturally I am happy to see that while Japan was held in my honor, eventually a fit player was given the country. He will take on Japan's mantle, not me, and any argument against it on my behalf would be arrogant and entitled. Instead, i'm currently not sure where I may choose to play. However I am sure, that we are soooo back. I am excited to get back to engaging with this community, and to rebuild my empire if possible. I know not what I will call it at this time, but its flag is inspired by the past flags of every iteration of my nations. More importantly though, I can't wait to get back to helping those in the PU, and reacquainting with my friends, many I haven't talked to in a while. Before I leave, I have one last thing of importance to state. Last time I had a new account, and rejoined, I was immediately made a manager. While nothing would make me happier, I feel that it should be up not only to the managers, and host, but likewise to the people, whether or not I am granted such a title. I have been absent for much time, and it would only be unfair to those who haven't any knowledge of the past that I just be quickly made a manager without consultation. Cartographer out.
