XC with Bella Multi slide update We’ve been working with our 5 year old Bella now for about five months; and I decided she was ready to go out for some jumping! Together we’ve done in arena jumping with her, up to about 80-90cm, so this was a totally different experience for her! She’s gone out before, on the trails and one time she went on a trot with Mirage (not with my consent!!!!!), but never to the XC trails. I mostly kept to the smaller jumps and the less scary ones, though she did not spook at anything! I was really impressed by her willingness to go in the water jump and how she just trotted in and out (even if she seemed to be raising her hooves a little higher then usually!)! She did decide to shake her self (a little like a dog) after the water! She got so many treats and pampering at the end of our session!
