hi! this will only take a minute to read so PLEASE PLEASE look at it!!! so, there's a big problem as of right now! vv An act called H.R. 2616 has passed the house (court thing or smth) and is going to the Senate. this act will do many things AGAINST TRANS KIDS. here's what will happen: ban all federally funded schools from: - teaching about sexual orientation and gender identity - letting teachers use trans kids' correct pronouns or names (that have been changed) - remove books with any trans characters - prevent teachers from awknowledging that trans people exist! - require teachers to OUT trans kids (even if they know they will be hurt at home)! Now, keep in mind that if a school doesn't follow ALL of these, it will lose ALL of it's federal funding!! this means that... schools will very likely follow these, or have to close!! This act will literally K!LL trans kids. luckily, it hasn't passed the senate- so you can EASILY take a stand!! it only takes 5 minutes!!! you can politely ask the senator in your area to oppose this in court!! to start, go to the website at the bottom. It will explain the issue.
