Flower had heard Grandeur’s demands. So this was it. Her knight would be defeated. One way or the other. Chirp would either be exiled…or de@d. And song would leave her…all alone. Like everyone else did. But if Sonnet was exiled…fae would follow him. She had nothing here…except her apprentices, and Serenity. Fae’s sister. But what could she do? Lil would be labeled an outcast either way. Scorned by the clan. But… would they even survive out there? Sonnet could d1e! Flower could die! The kits could die! It was too much. Day had been sitting on the cliff, but now fae stood to pace. There were so many things that could go wrong. So many decisions. But both paths would be horrid either way. What would fae do? There was no guarantee that Grand would keep her word. Who knows, she’s probably…she might k1ll Sonnet…or even one of their kits. The thought made Day feel like fae was going to faint. There were other m_rderers in Urchinclan…none had been investigated!! So why was Sonnet getting investigated!? Why him, out of all cats? It wasn’t a big deal…ish. Yes, song took a life, but so had many others in the clan! Why did Dolly have to get Grandeur involved!??? Why was Grandeur so /obsessed/ with this case?! Why did the world take /everything/ away from her!? Lily tore her paws angrily through fae’s fur and let out a scream of frustration. A bird squawked nearby, taking flight. Day sighed, a tear slipping down her cheek. What was flower going to do? At this rate, she wouldn’t survive to winter. What could fae do? Sonnet once suggested offing Grand…but everyone would know it was song. Their only hope was to be proven innocent. Daylily looked up at the sky. -Starclan, even if this is the only thing I ask, even if it means I go to the Dark Forest, please. Please let Sorastar find Sonnet innocent. I can’t take care of these kits alone. And I can’t live without him.- Day thought, sending the prayer up to Starclan. Whatever happened, whoever fae had to face, DaylilyOath knew the answer somewhere. Yes, fae would always follow SonnetScourge. But what if it meant her life? What if it meant the lives of her kits?
