[INTRODUCTION] Savodillskiy Soyuz Torgovli (SST abbreviated) is a general trade and works conglomerate that specializes in trade, industry, and holdings. It holds shares in several companies including majority shares in Velaris Avtokorp. [HISTORY] Phase 1 - Merchant Years In the late 1800s and early 1900s. SST was a loosely intertwined Savodillan merchant guild operating primarily along coasts, rivers, and railroads. Regions surrounding these areas were primarily controlled by families who had connections to the merchant guild, trades were primarily grain, timber, and metal. Phase 2 - Soyuz Formation Era From the 1920s to the 1950s, when Savodilla was industrializing, several major trade families formed what is essentially an alliance, this is when SST first came to be. With this alliance comes shared shipping fleets, a now unified export pricing system that allowed SST to have a firm grip on the monopoly of trade in Savodilla. Phase 3 - Industrial Expansion From the 50s to the 80s SST began to advance, and began to invest in production of what they trade, citing that trade is much stronger when you also control the production. SST invested in steelworks, shipping infastructure, and machinery production, as well as mining and logging. SST is now a hybrid of trade and industry that controlls imports, exports, and the core materials, this only increases their monopoly. Phase 4 - Globalization & Holdings Era SST expands into foreign shipping routes, overseas industrial investments, and holdings in automotive and tech companies. Phase 5 - Automotive Integration Era From the 2000s - 2010s SST begins to target high-value industries such as automotive and electronics. SST also began to invest millions into Velaris Avtokorp after the 2004 merger of Velaris Promzavod (Norvia Industrial Works) and Norvia Avtokorp (Norvia Auto Group), this allows them to influence the group much easier, it also allows more deals to be made with Velaris Avtokorp, especially when it comes to electronics and steel. [SUBSIDIARIES] SST Morskaya Logistika - Handles cargo fleets and container shipping SST Promyshelennyy Holding - Steel production, machinery manufacturing, factory investments, SST Torgovaya Set - Trade agreements imports, and international partnerships SST Tekhonologicheskiy Otdel - Industrial logistics and tech systems SST Stratgicheskiye Investitsii - Investing & Share Holding SST Bankovskayakorp - Financial Branch [NOTES] (primarily for other countries) SST will usually not appear as a single visible company, rather, it will appear through things such as shipping labels, bank document, port authority and trade contracts rather than a standard storefront and what not. In international ports, goods connected to SST will be labeled under variations of "SST Trade Network", "Savodillskiy Soyuz Torgovli" or simply "SST Logistics Division" On official financial documents and trade agreements please use "SST Bankovskayakorp" for financial involvment, "SST Torgovaya Set" for exports / imports, and "SST Morksaya Logistika" for sihpping and port contracts and what not. In rural regions SST has little to no presence, as many smaller companies and businesses do their work in those regions. In infrastructure heavy regions of Savodilla, especially near coastal regions, SST' presence is extremely apparent, being nearly everywhere that SST interacts with, these areas are known primarily as "Soyuz Zones" due to how prominent SST is in those regions.
