. . . As the leaves start turning orange and yellow in leaf-fall, a new type of flower begins to bloom. it doesn't look very different from the other blossoming plants: tall stem with round leaves, with a pink-speckled white blossom with pointy petals and a honey-like scent. But none of the cats have seen it before. Still, it didn't seem to be poisonous or anything, so cats started collecting these flowers. Soon these flowers were growing almost everywhere. But these flowers aren't normal flowers. these flowers had small thorns that were hard to see. And if a cat was pricked by these thorns.. the flowers will start growing on the cat. this isn't sudden; it takes a few days for the flowers to start to grow. But when it does.. it will not be taken care of easily. . . . . . Welcome to the first event of Hidden secrets! These new, never seen before flowers have started growing almost everywhere... and they are starting to grow on cats. no matter how many herbs the sages, mages, and healers use, there doesn't seem to be a cure.. yet. so cats are now trying out other plants and herbs to try and cure it. so far, nothing's worked. . . How this event will work: . . . Every friday, I'll roll some cats to be pricked by the flowers. all cats will be rolled for, but please tell me if you are uncomfortable with it. . . . When you roleplay your cat trying to get a cure (they don't have to be a healer/sage/mage, but please research the plants you'll use.) or trying to eliminate these flowers, you'll get event points! you can use these to buy special traits, accessories, and even blessings or curses! . . . You don't have to use the usual herbs. You can use other plants your cat would be able to get, but please, research the effects of the plant on the cat! (For example, if I were to use lily flowers as a cure, the cat who used the cure would be pretty ill since lilies are fatal to cats.) . . . You can also use specific parts of plants (like dandelion flower, catmint stem, etc) or combinations of herbs. . . . For elimination and healing threads, please don't use very low effort responses! Any responses like "Cat tore up 20 flowers" would be low-effort. In elimination threads, there is also a chance your cat could get pricked. . . . There isn't really a limit about how many comments it should be, but again, put effort in it. . I haven't decided when this event will end yet, but it'll last for a few weeks.
