imma theorize real quick. Puss was indroducing in Shrek 2, right? and Dreamworks gave Puss an origin movie. so during the Puss in Boots movie, Shrek is wanted and chilling in his swamp alone and peacefully. During the Shrek movie, Puss in Boots was moving to the kingdom of Far Far Away. And that's where it all ended up. AND a timeline AFTER Shrek Forever After, Puss went somewhere else (maybe back to his town where he originally came from). At the END of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Puss went back to Far Far Away to visit an old friend. Shrek. SO, what do you think?
