Silas finally made it to school despite the two arguing voices in his head. The school was a large one. A large annoying one. Though his expectations for the school were already low he ventured onward into the front doors into the main entrance. Once in he went into the office to get a list of his classes. The paper was filled with names he didn’t care about and numbers that held no value to him. His homeroom was 804 the teacher was Ms. Rubis. Silas searched for his seat. Then when finding it he sat. Then only 3 seconds later half the class was gone. No sign that they ever existed. No… nothing just gone. The remaining students seemed unfazed by the sudden disappearance. Silas looked around. “Why are the voices silent?” Silas pondered. This was freaky to him, especially since it’s only chapter 4 it’s not supposed to be engaging till at least chapter 6. The mystery only gets stranger as a low soft humming erupted from the hall followed by a weird song? No more like a poem or lullaby. “Laughter takes the lively crowd, arrows shoot through metal walls, all to find the k*lling one” echoed through the room and into his mind. Then suddenly nothing… just pure unbridled silence… then before he knows it Silas is in a noisy room filled with insufferable kids. Everything was normal… after all of that? Then almost immediately after this tall slender kid walked in. A face showing little to no emotions. His stance confidant yet quiet. Something was off about him. Silas would just have to ignore him for now.
