(reworked) ☆Rules☆ -Any type of queerphobia will not be tolerated -Treat others equally -Do not invalidate anyone, identity or otherwise -Only add or advertise lgbtq+ projects -Do not spread drama of any kind -Kill it with kindness -Use trigger warnings and tone tags when appropriate (not mandatory) -Do not spam -Do not send links to any site/chatroom off scratch without explicit permission ☆Any type of queerphobia will not be tolerated☆ The Pride Studio is intended to be a safe place for those of pride. Engaging in queerphobia, homophobia, transphobia, ect, is not welcome here. ☆Treat others equally☆ Once again, this is a safe space. In the pride studio, you shouldn't be discriminating against anyone for their identity or way of expressing themselves. ☆Do not invalidate anyone, identity or otherwise☆ This goes for anyone in or visiting the pride studio. No matter someone's gender, pronouns, or sexual orientation, they are valid as long as they aren't harming anyone or anything. ☆Only add or advertise lgbtq+ projects☆ You may add any pride-related projects to the studio (as long as they follow all other rules listed), and you can advertise anything lgbtq+. Any unrelated projects will be removed, as they do not fit the topic of our studio. If you don't know where to advertise a project, just ask! We know plenty of places that would love many types of projects. ☆Do not spread drama of any kind☆ Whether it's in the pride studio or not, please don't talk about or link to any arguments or homophobes. This is a drama-free studio, and by giving queerphobes attention, you're giving them exactly what they want. (Please note, it's okay to say something along the lines of "I had a terrible day, a queerphobe wouldn't stop ridiculing me at school". This covers a person in real life, and no squabbles can come from it.) ☆Kill it with kindness☆ ☆Kill it with kindness☆ If you see a queerphobe or troll, don't engage. Do your best to ignore them, be polite, and report it to a manager if we aren't already aware. Giving them attention will only delight the person. ☆Use trigger warnings and tone tags when appropriate (not mandatory)☆ Mentions of serious topics generally aren't for scratch. However if they do come up you will be expected to use trigger warnings. This also goes for tone tags, which should be used for comments that could be taken the wrong way. Neither of these are mandatory, but they are highly appreciated. Some useful ones are listed below. /s (serious) /sarc (sarcastic) /j (joking) /nm (not mad) /ref (reference) /gen (genuine) ☆Do not spam☆ Spamming, which we classify as posting more than three separate comments in a row within ten minutes, or repeatedly posting the same comment, is not allowed unless given specific permission from a manager. Please note that this can be overridden if you keep it to your own thread by adding on extra thoughts or bypassing character limits. ☆Do not send links to any site/chatroom off Scratch without explicit permission☆ This is not allowed on scratch, as it can lead to very serious problems and it can and has harmed the safety of our members in the past. This rule includes w2g and Magma. Exception: Our managers may sometimes send links to important events/planning/forms. This is allowed and approved by managers, as it's moderated. If any of these rules are broken, the individual who broke them will be reprimanded through a report, deleted comments, or a temporary time out.
