37 was an engine with no maker like no record of him of being made. Anyway, he has powers and look like an LNER engine but freelance. The first site of 37 was in 1886 with the other engines like the LNER Drummond D51, and he look different without a coal bunker. Later when Sodor open, he went to Sodor as one of the blue tank engines to help the railway. In 2012 37 went to the island of Sodor again and he stay on Sodor as number 37 even though Rosie is number 37, she does not mine it. Edward says, "A number is a number." You DON'T want to know what 37's bad side look like. Sorry if this does not make sense. :P
