TETRIS 2048, a fun little game that I personally think is really, really addicting. Try to get a high score, try to get a low score. The lowest possible score is 0 if you get really lucky. Sorry for using clones, but it shouldn't be too laggy, I programmed this on a Chromebook and should be fine... [Scroll down for the instructions] There are instructions in the game, but for those that need them written out (I'm with you there) these are the controls: Depending on your control settings it is either, Right and left to change columns -OR- The number keys (1-5) to change the column (The arrow keys are easier, the number keys are faster) To drop the block, press space or the down arrow. That is the same on both settings. To change the keybinds go to the main menu (be careful though because if you are in game you will lose your progress) and go to the bottom right corner to click on the setting you want. EXTRA TIP The black zero blocks can only be broken when merged next to. They can't merge with each other.
You can post ads...only if you put at least a full sentence critiquing the game in the same comment as the ad. One sentence per ad ;) (I say this like I'd get ads, it's all about confidence) Please point out the flaws so I can fix them. Comment your score, comment your favorite part, but most importantly, comment if it doesn't merge correctly. I think I fixed it, but that thing does not like to stay fixed for long. BTWs this is for my final for Intro to Computer Science ~_~ I hope I get an A... Please let me know about anything else you want me to fix or change, but always remember you can remix this! My programming is not great and if you want changes make your version. That's what I did for Tetris and 2048 and now we have this. It makes programming fun if we have a solid base for the game already, but make sure it is changed a bit to give it your own flair ;) Speaking of which, cred to Tetris and 2048 for the concept and title. CODE TIME About 4-5 days of hard coding. SPECIAL THANKS Thanks to Griffpatch, his videos about grid lists taught me how to use them and it's helping all these years later! :) Thanks to my programming teacher in 7th and 8th grade. I can't name drop, but he gave me enthusiasm to learn to program. He specifically taught me the concepts, not just the syntax. FINAL NOTE What's it been, 2-3 years? Well I'm back with this. I might not stay back, but keep tabs on me because I might come out with another banger. Remember: Following lets you get my projects on your feed, then you can see what I made recently. Don't follow if you don't want to see my projects though, this isn't a social media platform...no follow for follow. Lines of code: 1330 May 25, 2026 4:26 pm Pacific Time Zone Tags:
