I wanted to make a kinsona cuz I can and want to My one and only kin, Leafy, whom I don't even like that much- I dislike how much I can relate to a cynical, self-absorbed leaf. Don't get me wrong, I like Leafy Just not a lot. I did the background btw! ^_^ (Didn't make/take the pictures nor mood boards tho) At first, I didn't have any characters that I found strongly relatable. But then, my ex-partner/friend came along and mentioned that our relationship was like Firey and Leafy's. Seriously, we're literally like Firey and Leafy (Apart from the personalities) So um- that's nice...
Don't get character kins confused with therian kins- They're two different things "What does it mean to kin a fictional character?" If someone kins a fictional character that means they feel a special connection to them. It's basically like a character you can identify with and/or strongly relate to in some way. Usually, it's a character you can see yourself in due to sharing similar personality traits or having similar trauma. Kinning a character doesn't exactly have to be deep or anything. If you simply see parts of yourself in that character, then you can still kin them.
