Well, it's almost Thanksgiving, and that means winter is right around the corner where I live (we don't get much snow here, but when we do get it, it's a miracle). I'm not exactly excited, but I thought it was about time to get a jump start on my winter/Christmas-themed projects, and I think this one's a great start. I had some old Hetalia 8-bit sprites lying around somewhere on my computer, so I used this one I had of Prussia. I was going to use one of the Italies since this is a work by an Italian composer, but Prussia seems more winter-y to me. Speaking of this work, the Four Seasons has been a favorite of mine for an exceedingly long time, and is one of my classical go-to's when there's nothing interesting to listen to (that and anything by Debussy). I thought that this wonderful, ethereal 16-bit arrangement made by Minousoft would fit excellently with the sprite, and it did. I got the snow effect gifs from (where else) Giphy and the barren tree from clipartpanda.com.
