Dominator 1 is a legendary Storm Research Vehicle (SRV) built by meteorologist and storm chaser Reed Timmer and designer Kevin Barton. Debuting in 2009 and based on a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, it was engineered to get as close as humanly possible to tornadoes to drop scientific probes and capture ground-breaking footage.
