Scene 11: (Cricketstar glares at Worm, Birdkit, and Blossompaw as they enter her den. Worm looks a bit intimidated, but Birdkit and Blossompaw don't seem concerned.) (Cricketstar opens her mouth to scold them, but a commotion erupts outside.) Lichengleam (outraged): “why is ‘t CROUNCHEEE?? I’ dis a piece of SHALE? hrmphrhmrhgrhmph.. tha' aint funneh! I ate a rokk! eughghg" (Cricketstar rushes outside. The preypile is full of rocks. Thornwish is laughing his head off. Rippleround is just staring at the scene, and Vixenpaw is desperately trying to take the rocks out of the preypile.) (Vixenpaw rushes towards Cricketstar.) Vixenpaw: Oh no, oh starclan.. I tried to stop him when I realized, I promise, mother! Rippleround: Wha- Thornwish, what did you- (Thornwish goes up to Worm.) Thornwish: So.. I suspect you're in trouble. I suggest you run about now. Cricketstar looks pretty mad, and there's no time like the present! (Worm glances around, then smiles and sprints away.) Worm: Hasta la pasta.
