PLEASE DO NOT HARASS ANYONE MENTIONED, THAT WOULD NOT BE VERY CASH MONEY OF YOU. might revise this again tommorow, it's 1 in the morning right now lol i know it was to see if anyone would notice that is was mine, but like, EVERYONE in the comments were oblivious, and complimenting the music as if it were theirs. that really hurts man, please don't take my stuff. especially don't claim it as your own, even for the bit. the person who stole the music in question is @0-mxntyy-0 , who's actually @-ronnie lol no hard feelings towards you, i do understand that it was because you liked my music! the paragraph and a half below might feel angry, and that's because when i wrote it, i was still a bit salty about it, (rightfully, of course, somebody stole my hard work after all!!!) but i've read all there is to need to understand that it's not really the biggest deal. i've kind of edited it around what i wrote before i knew for sure that ronnie and mxntyy were the same person, so it may be a bit shabby. basically what happened was, ronnie decided to take the songs that i made, (roughly 5) and repost them under mxntyy's account. the thing is, the only way that i could have possibly known that my songs were being stolen were by checking mxntyy's profile. luckily enough, probably due to the fact i wasn't checking back, i received a notification that mxntyy followed me. i thought that was pretty weird, so i checked their profile to see if they had revealed that it all was satire, as the account had a lot of poppy fangirl stuff before the music projects were posted. (they've been unshared since then) i appreciate the indirect signal for me to check the profile, that was suprisingly well executed. i saw that they posted some music stuff, which caught me by suprise, because I never knew that they wanted to make music. it came along with the oc in the thumbnail, who was way better drawn than the previously posted recolors of a poppy vector. that pretty much told me that it was a satire account. i checked the comments of the project, and saw that mxntyy said in a reply that they had used paandorasbox for the two songs featured. paired with the follow, my immediate thought was "oh, she must have seen my music projects, and then decided to start making music of her own!!" I was then shot 57 times. two of my songs were taken. the first one, I'm pretty sure was the short snippet of my larder beetle song that I posted a while ago, and the other one I don't remember. i remember feeling my heart sink to my stomach. (that's a pretty bad thing) I then left a comment, (the "hey wait a minute" one) and then went to go check the other project. it had three of my other songs. the first one was my short cover of matryoshka, which nobody in the comments recognised or pointed out, (you uncultured swines!!!!!!) which is especially weird because they were all named some random german words. for all I know, one of them could've translated to "I stole this" or something like that lmao the positive comments on the stolen songs kind of made me sad, especially because that projects got a lot more traction than my own songs usually get, fully finished or not. of course, there's no way to premeditate how popular a project will be, so I don't blame ronnie for having it get a bunch of comments, but still, that really doesn't feel good. I feel like I'm overreacting a little bit, making a whole entire project about this, because everybody in the comments of the reveal weren't really too concerned about that. though, I am entitled to being at least a little bit angry, because I made the songs, but I know that the song steal thingy came from a good place. I'm pretty sure this was actually a positive experience??? it got a little more eyes on my stuff, and also, it kind of validated my music! now I know that my music was good enough to steal :D feel free to keep coming by!! plblbpblblbpbllbbpbbpbpbbbphhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
