It doesn’t matter if it is a game, a drawing, or a piece of code; the creator likely spent hours or even days trying to make something fun for others to enjoy. When we leave mean comments, we often forget that there is a human on the other side of the screen who might feel hurt or discouraged by our words. Instead of only focusing on what is wrong, like a bit of lag or a small mistake, we should try to notice the effort they put in first. Being respectful means treating creators the same way you would want to be treated if you shared something you worked really hard on. This is made for @unicorncat444428 who I hope will stop being rude since they joined Scratch, this is one of their most recent comment.

Many times, a creator already knows there might be a problem and has already written down a way to fix it for you. When people ignore those notes and start being rude, it makes the whole community feel like a negative place. If something isn't working right, it is much better to ask a polite question or give a kind suggestion instead of "shouting" in all caps. By staying calm and being helpful, you help make the internet a better place where people feel safe to keep creating. Ultimately, being kind shows that you are a mature person who values the hard work that others do. If you find people like this please help them correct their mistakes. Thank you all for taking the time to read this if you did. HELP SCRATCH BECOME BETTER! <3
