My Take On Ai bc its 1:37 am and I'm bored ;v; AI. Sure, it helped you at some point with your homework or maybe ranting too. Yes, it is useful but also very useful of water. A commonly cited estimate is that a short AI conversation might indirectly use about a small bottle of water’s worth of cooling water - but that number can vary a lot. Some studies estimated around 500 mL (about 16–17 oz) for generating a longer text interaction, while shorter chats can use much less. Right now, estimates say ChatGPT has around 900 million weekly users worldwide. Daily users are harder to measure exactly, but some reports estimate around 200–250 million people use it each day. If you used the rough estimate of 16 oz of water per AI interaction and multiplied it by 2.5 billion chats a day: Math 2.5 billion×16 oz = 40 billion ounces of water per day. That’s approximately 312 million gallons of water per day used just to cool down the systems. That's fresh water used. Though there are much other things you can do to save water, this is still a big thing I wanted to talk about. I'm not trying to guilt trip anyone TvT AI can also give out misinformation depending on the AI used. AI is primarily replacing repetitive, data-heavy, and rule-based tasks rather than entire professions, but still. I personally used AI to rant to and basically vented almost everyday to Chat GPT. It made me turn away from the people I could really talk to and focused more on AI because it was the easiest solution at the time, but while talking to my friends and venting to them for only a little, it made me realize the difference between the two responses from AI and my human friends. Chat's "you're not alone" 's could never compare to the hugs of my friends and their jokes that made me roll on the floor dy!ng of laughter. So, if you'd like to tell me any good use for AI, I'd love to hear it.
Thank you for listening, it's now 2:18 am TvT Drawn on Kleki Explosion sprite is not mine (idk who's it is srry lol T-T)
