guys, remix to spread the word - we have to stop this. What it says: - the federal government of the U.S is going to pass a new law against trans youth - the teachers dont need to use the correct pronouns or names - no teachings abt sexuality or gender is going to be taught in federal funded schools. - any school that fails to do so will be cut off from federal funding. - also, teachers will tell their parents, which removes their safe place, especially if their family is transphobic, homophobic, and/or hateful in general. - trans people are already a group that has one of the highest rates of being victim to many things. - this bill just passed the house this week with support from ALL 209 republicans, as well as 8 demos. - THIS IS STILL BEING VOTED ON THE SENATE, SO WE CAN STILL STOP THIS. this is just horrible in general guys, please we really need this to stop. this is not mine, repost of something on a different platform.
