Right on cue, the kitchen door swung open. Denki walked in first, followed closely by Deku, who was still looking a little nervous and unsure. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Table~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bakugou POV:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Shut up and eat, you d@mn extras!" I yelled, slamming the heavy pot of food onto the counter. My face felt like it was on fire, and Deku wasn't making it any better. I aggressively ladled out massive portions onto plates, shoving them at the others with a glare that threatened murder if anyone breathed a word about my blush. Once the counter was clear, I grabbed my own plate and turned around. I scanned the long dining table, searching for an empty spot far away from Mina and Sero's smirking faces. Then, I saw him. Deku was sitting near the middle of the table, looking small and anxious. Before I could even move, Sero subtly shot a thin strand of tape under the table, snagging the leg of an empty chair across the room and pulling it completely out of reach. At the exact same time, Mina quickly slid her chair over to block the other side. They left exactly one empty chair available at the entire table. Right next to Deku."Oh man, looks like we're totally out of room over here, Bakugo!" Sero said, flashing a completely fake, innocent smile."Yeah, totally full!" Mina chimed in, leaning forward. "But look, there's a perfect seat right next to Midoriya!"My grip tightened on my plate until the ceramic threatened to crack. Those damn b@stards trapped me. I looked down at the empty chair, and then my eyes met Deku's. He had stopped chewing, looking up at me with wide, nervous green eyes. My heart did stupid flips in my chest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Deku POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Suddenly, the chair next to me screeched against the floor. I looked up, startled, and found Kacchan standing right there. He aggressively slammed his plate down onto the table, making the silverware rattle. He looked absolutely furious—his teeth were gritted, his shoulders were tense, and his face was bright, burning red from his cheeks all the way to his ears. Oh no, I panicked, my heart hammering against my ribs. He's so mad. Is he red because he's that angry at me? Before I could offer to move to another table, Kacchan dropped heavily into the chair next to me. He crossed his arms, staring intensely at his food, completely ignoring the giggles and whispers coming from Mina and Sero across the table.
Hope you like it! I've wanted to make fanfics forever and I have so many ideas, as soon as I make one, I get started on the next one!
