TW: Vent-ish Guys, I'm really sorry if this causes inconvenience for anyone. Basically, recently my school has required that everyone changes their school password on their Chromebooks for security reasons. For some reason, my chromebook reacted by deleting all of my files, and my whole camera roll. Since none of it was backed up by drive, there's no way to get it back. I've tried talking to tech support, but they say it's impossible. This is really bad, because my computer had all of my art files. All of my art is gone, and i'm left with only what i've saved on scratch. This sucks, because scratch famously murd3rs the quality of every image I import, so taking a screenshot of that to save the image would just be dissapointing. The crisp image that I worked so hard to complete is gone. Additionally, all of my characters that i've acquired have just sat around in my files, due to me not having a storage account yet. This means I now have to hunt through all of my messages to find the conformations of every character i've obtained. This is going to get very tedious, and some of the projects are also gone as well, so I have no way to recover the characters. This is also horrible for my wip art pieces too, because all of my kleki psds were also deleted. Now I have to restart pays, and gifts, which is a lot of work. Plus, with my PFP contest having closed recently, I was working on results, but I have to restart judging as well. To judge, I had taken a screenshot of every entry, and tried them on to see which ones work the best, but now I have to retake all of the screenshots. This is horrible, because it took me multiple days to prepare for judging. I also have the end of the school year coming up, so schoolwork and homework is crazy rn. This means I'll have even less time to work on this. We also just bought a house, so there hasn't been any time to work on homework (set aside art) anyways. If you think that's bad, remember it deleted MY ENTIRE CAMERA ROLL TOO!! Even though most of my important photos are on my phone, my school doesn't allow phones, so all my photos from school were on there. There were amazing memories that are now gone, and there's no way to get it back. I don't really know what I can do, but please know that if i'm taking a while on pays, or something that I promised you, I'm trying my best, but this definitely didn't go the way I planned.
