ೃ༄*ੈ✩ Lore lore lore: Every year, any solar system part of the Committee for Habitable Interstellar Body’s Success (See footnote 1) get’s to chose up to one of it’s youngest and brightest minds minds to send to the Milky-Way Intergalactic Academy for the Gifted (AKA: the MIA, see footnote 2) A member of the year 3054 A.D. (or 500 I.C., see footnote 3) selection is Kallisto Vega, who hails from the Solluna System. Kallisto, or Kalli, as her friends call her, was born on the human colony of Mars and been studying to attend the MIA ever since it existed. Kallisto is the first Martian to ever attend the MIA, all of her previous successors were Earthlings, who are some of the most famous and loved members of CHIBS (See footnote 4.) Kallisto is sent to the MIA, which she soon learns is a vast, man-made city that orbits three stars. At first, she tries to make friends with the other two humans, but because they’re Earthlings they don’t see her in a good light. So Kalli eventually makes friends with people from other systems, as they learn Gaxic (See footnote 5), struggle through algebra, talk about their home planets and ‘unearth’ the hidden secrets of the Milky-Way Intergalactic Academy for the Gifted. ✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩ Small bio: Name - Kallisto Vega Pronouns - She/her (though pronouns aren’t really a thing when speaking Gaxic) Sexuality - Lesbian (Again, this is very loose, gender is very different among different planets) Interests - Art and music (she got a preforming arts scholarship to come to MIA), star life cycles, intergalactic ecology, learning more about other planets (Milea, specifically) Aspirations - Getting all A’s, finding more hidden passages in the MIA, getting Edelweiss and Lyra (the other two humans) to like her ✧ ೃ༄*ੈ✩ Footnotes :D 1 - The Committee for Habitable Interstellar Body’s Success: CHIBS, for short, the Committee is comprised of around 1,000 solar systems will one or more habited planets of intelligent creatures. (Intelligent meaning has been able to communicate intergalacticly) CHIBS is responsible for keeping intergalactic peace and manages programs like the MIA (See footnote 2) Not all habited solar systems, intelligent or otherwise are members of CHIBS. 2 - Milky-Way Intergalactic Academy for the Gifted: Also known as the MIA or simple the Academy, the Milky-Way Intergalactic Academy for the Gifted is the most prestigious school in the entire galaxy. As its name suggests students from various systems attend each year, with the total enrollment typically being around 2,500 per grade. (Which seems like a lot, but it is normally around 1 or 2 children per solar system) 3- I.C. stands for Intergalactic Connection, and is used to mark dates. Year 1 started when communication was branched between various systems in the Milky Way. Also I.C. dates are subjective and serve as the total intergalactic time keeper, but individual solar systems use their own time keeper. (Not sure how much sense this makes I’m sorry) 4: The humans of Earth (Earthlings, as they were later named) along with the people of Milea (Formerly known as Kepler 452b) and the people of Xiclite (Formerly known as Proxima Centauri B) worked together from across the galaxy to perfect the technology of ‘warping’ (AKA wormholes or teleportation) and surpassing the speed of light. Because they made intergalactic travel so easy, they (and their systems in general) are beloved by all. They are typically the only planets (and therefore solar systems) allowed to select 3 members to send the MIA. 5 - Gaxic: The official language of the Milk Way, designed to be easy to speak, read and write for most members of CHIBS.
