Chapter 1 - Confrontation With Due Respect - Ft. Astro and Dandy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Astro finds Dandy collapsed onto the ground and bruises and cuts on him, Astro takes Dandy to his room where he confronts him about the situation and Dandy continued to stay quiet. “You knew.” is what he told Astro, tears forming in his eyes , “You knew, you knew and you didn’t do anything about it.” Astro flinched at the harsh words and knew that Dandy wasn’t wrong, “I’m sorry.” Is what he told his best friend. Dandy started to sob silently, curling up in a little ball. “Why?” he asked Astro, his voice cracking as he spoke. “Why didn’t you help?” Astro stayed quiet for a minute. “I- I’m not going to find an excuse to this. I’m sorry I all I can say, Dandy.” Dandy’s eyes darted around the room, “Sprout was right. I really am alone.” His voice sounded high pitched and helpless as he said the last sentence. Astro wanted to comfort Dandy badly but couldn’t find the words to say. “Out of all the people who hurt me... It had to be YOU.” The words sliced through Astro like a knife just as much as the shock hurt Dandy to the bone. Dandy and Astro couldn’t exchange more words for it would open the wound deeper.
