Ochaco and I were keeping a close eye on the boys, wondering how long they could keep their secret. Suddenly, Bakugo stood up from his chair. He walked straight over to Deku, grabbed him by the sleeve, and pulled him over to the center of the room. "Listen up, everyone!" Bakugo called out, his voice getting everyone's attention. My heart nearly stopped. Was this actually happening?! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ochaco POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Everyone stopped talking and looked up. Kirishima dropped his video game controller, and Kaminari looked totally confused. Deku’s face was bright red, but he stood right next to Bakugo, looking incredibly brave. "We have something to tell you guys," Deku said, his voice steady as he looked at the group. Bakugo crossed his arms, his face turning a deep, flustered pink, but he spoke up clearly. "The nerd and I are official now. So stop asking questions and don't make a big deal out of it!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bakugo POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The entire room went completely quiet for three whole seconds. I braced myself, expecting Kirishima or Kaminari to start laughing. But instead, Kirishima just grinned and threw his arms in the air. "Dude, that is so awesome! We are so happy for you guys! You're going to be the ultimate team!" Kaminari nodded enthusiastically, cheering along with him. I felt a massive wave of relief hit my chest. I glanced at Deku, who was practically beaming with happiness, and I couldn't help but let out a soft huff. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Deku POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I looked over at our friends, my eyes watering a little bit from how supportive everyone was being. Todoroki gave us a calm, happy nod, and Iida started doing his robotic arm chops, lecturing us about how important it was to maintain focus on our hero studies while working closely as partners. I laughed, feeling lighter than I ever had before. I looked over at Mina and Ochaco, who were both high-fiving each other like they had just won a championship. We didn't have to hide our close friendship anymore. We didn't have to hide anymore. We were finally out in the open, and our friends had our backs.
