Long Ago Explorers embarked into the antarctic wilderness in the hope of finding a great inland sea, they failed and the small lake they found was dubbed "lake disappointment" (totally real story). With the Antarctic Union not coming in possession of vast swaths of australian territory we shall seek to implement many of our plans. In Antarctica there is a large western basin devoid of natural resources and agriculture, in order to supply the vast populations in antarctica we must secure vital protected ports and new fertile zones to supply food and expand our navy. To do this join engineer from the union and NASM meet together and formulate the Shdat economic plan. This plan involves the mass development of infrastructure and resource extraction within the permafrost and Australia's vast natural resources. To prepare for the layk we shall build up dams and reservoirs, as well as pumps, seawalls and canals. Sea walls will also be build up from soil and rock excavated from the basin as we lower it's level in certain areas. Rivers will be diverted to flow into this basin, while massive hydroelectric dam infrastructure is built up to power this project. Meanwhile Nasm specialists and investors help build up our domestic ship building infrastructure, prepping certain coasts of the basin for ports and deepwater ports. Meanwhile the tasmanian ports are further expanded, as we expand oil extraction efforts into the timor sea, as building up our industrial potential in antarctic hives and on the australian mainland. Once the lake if flooded we will be able to construct new advanced dockyards and develop a large agricultural industry and trade. We have big hopes.
