The Reichswehr is one of the sorriest stories of the Oved Continent's lengthy history of Imperialism. Formed shortly after the Reunification Wars in the 1800s, the Reichswehr used revolutionary tactics and equipment for the time, leading to a period of time withing the Trithian Gilded Age where the Reichswehr was widely accepted as some of if not the strongest fighters on the continent. However, as the natural progression of time took it's toll on the Reichswehr, the defining moment of the Reichswehr and the Kaiserreich as a whole began. In 1901, following months of Trithian Aggression in the Sifas Continent, against the Llamadoridican Colonies in Sifas, all out war broke out between the Colonial Superpowers. This was labeled "The Colonial War", and lasted from 1901 to 1905, with the Trithians suffering a brutal and humiliating defeat. By 1908, the Reichswehr is a shell of it's former self, still bruised and battered from the War.
