Hey yall First, a thank you to everyone who made my experience on scratch so amazing during covid. I made so many great connections with people over the internet, and it really played a big part in how I am today. Everyone from the SCC reborn made it so fun to be on an online community for someone who had little to no social life, and im pretty sure i would have not been into cars with the same passion i carry today. I really thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. I will be graduating in 2 weeks, I now own 4 cars! Most are junk though lol. I own my s10, 1997 civic sedan, 2000 crv (fixing for sister), and a 1992 volvo 240 that had previously been wrecked. Most of this has not come without sacrifice, I work around 25-30 hours at 2 jobs during the school week. It has also been an extremely difficult year due to many circumstances, but it has shaped me into more of an adult, which I am grateful for. I will not be going to traditional college, my tire shop job has given me some amazing opportunities that i will be taking to become a mechanic in the near future, although it will be somewhat short term due to some apparent issues. I hope that I will remember scratch in the future, but with a hectic work schedule ahead of me, I doubt i will be able to make time. So I am saying goodbye to this site. I will miss yall so much, and I hope that growing up is not being too rough on you guys, especially in this day and age.
