Instructions

Fzzzzzt! A spray of yellow sparks landed on Kalei's blue sparklebelt, reducing her lives to 3. They whirled around, to see their friend, Tourmaline, standing with her sparktorch held triumphantly above her head. "Finally!" Said Tourmaline, "I actually got you for once!" "Good job!" Replied Kalei, extending her fist to bump Tournaline's hoof, "But the blue team is still gonna win!" Kalei spun and dashed away as Tourmaline went the opposite way. Veering off the path, Kalei, crept through the patch of trees to stand near the path closest to the edge of the arena, to ambush whoever she saw next. The sound of panting reached Kalei's ears, and Kalei recognised it as Twitch, the nervous mouse in her class who loved birdwatching. Kalei stepped on a twig, to alert Twitch so he didn't freak out when they hit him. She pointed her sparktorch at Twitch and pressed the button to release a torrent of blue sparks at Twitch's red sparklebelt. "Aww come on!" Moaned Twitch, "I never even make it to the end." "Sorry Twitch!" Called Kalei, stepping out out into the sunlight from her hiding spot "It-it's fine." Mumbled Twitch as he scurried off to the centre. "Alright kids! Red and blue teams are tied, green and yellow back to the centre please, it's time for a sudden spark, first team to score wins!" Called the teacher. "Hahahahaha." Came an overconfident voice, Kalei rolled their eyes, it was Litho, the annoying bear who loved to irritate her. "I've got you now and- huh? What are you doing?" Kalei took advantage of his smugness by using her sparktorch to make a smokescreen (or sparkscreen I suppose?), to escape. Litho was annoying, but he made sure to defend himself, so there was no use trying to hit him. Kalei retreated back a few steps, then swung herself into the nearest tree and watched amusedly as Litho looked around to try and find her. She couln't fly yet, no one could until they unlocked their Light, even if they weren't a Skyweaver. She could glide though, and when Litho left to mope, she leapt from the branch. They glided silently, using their tail to angle their glide to the path leading to the centre. There was bound to be someone chatting to their eliminated teammates. She spotted someone up ahead and just as she was about to hit them and score the winning point, she was hit by her friend Lantern. "Let's go red teeeeaaam!" He cried victoriously. He turned and high-fived Kalei, "Still coming to mine for the Prism League finale?" He asked. "As if I would miss it!" Replied Kalei "Just saying, the Blazing Titans are SO winning this year." He said confidently "Oh please, you know the Silver Sentinels are winning." Came Tourmaline's voice. "Maybe neither of them will win?" Suggested Kalei "NO WAY." Cried Tourmaline and Lantern in unison. Kalei rolled her eyes, same argument as always, her friends would never NOT be divided when it came to sparkletag. Kalei was partial to the Tailwind Tornados, but not nearly as fiercely devoted as her friends were. She took off her sparklebelt and handed it in with her sparktorch.
