/!\ WARNING /!\ Awesome series pilot below! Proceed with happy squeals of excitement! Saber pushed open the door to the witch's spire. She didn't know too much about her, apart from her name, Yven. Her friend Jinx had told her that they needed to see this spellcaster, and that it was important, but Saber still didn't know why. The spire, despite the blatant lack of witches, was actually really pretty. Bookshelves filled with countless books on magic, spells, lands of the continent, politics--anything you could ever find useful--lined the walls. A desk sat to the side of the bookshelves, and there was a balcony on the opposite side of the large room. "Yven?" Saber called. "Over here." Yven answered, she had been tucked away in a corner of the room organizing the shelves and Saber hadn't seen her. "Yven!" Jinx yelled, rushing over and hugging her friend. Eve took a step towards the desk, where a crystal ball sat amongst piles of books on prophecies."So... you called us here for something?" She asked. "Yes. See, I've had a rather troubling vision... and all of you seem to be a part of it." Yven said, taking the crystal ball and putting it on a high shelf. It's use would come at a later moment anyway. "What kind of vision?" Leo piped up from behind the group. "Should you fail, the entire continent is doomed." Yven said, propping herself up beside the desk. "great..." Eve said, leaning against the wall and wondering how in the world she ended up in this situation. "Well then I suppose we should get to it." Saber said, looking up at the ceiling and then back at Yven. "...What is.. 'it' exactly?" Perhaps it was just a trick of the light, but the room almost seemed to dim as Yven began to speak; "There's this... entity. It REEKED of void. It had the crystals from every major district gathered in its hands and sucked the continent into a black hole." "This was all a part of your vision?" Jinx asked. "Yes. It seems that your little band here are meant to be the heroes. And unfortunately, it seems like no one else can." Yven said, drilling into every single one of them with a glare. "So how does this work? Do we have to get all the crystals first? Or just destroy the entity? What are we supposed to do?" Saber asked. "I'm not quite sure, although I do suspect you'll need to gather the crystals, but instead of simply keeping them away from the entity, I think you'll need to use them. Crystals from every corner of the continent could be used to banish the entity to limbo and trap it there forever." Yven said, putting some of the books from her desk back onto the shelves. "Yikes." Leo said, taking a step back, "And WE'RE the heroic saviors in this prophecy?" Yven nodded; "It appears so. There were others with you though. Indigo--a friend of mine--and two other nomen." "You didn't recognize them?" Saber asked, now she was curious. Yven closed her eyes in concentration, "I assume one of them will come with Indigo, considering the dynamic I observed, I'm guessing they're close. The other, I have no idea. He stuck by Saber in one of the flashes I saw. Hat, wings, spaid tail?" She said. "Oh! That sounds like V!" Saber said excitedly. Maybe her friend was a part of the mission too! "Someone you know?" Yven asked. "Yeah, we'll have to go pick him up." Saber said, beaming. Yven nodded in response. "Did the vision say where to go first?" Eve asked, her own spaid tail flicking around. This little visit was turning out to be way more trouble than she'd originally hoped. "I would try Karreo. You had a map to the crystals, which would likely come from a merchant, and Karreo's overflowing with them." Yven said, handing them written directions to the village. "Perfect!" Jinx said, "Let's go save the world!" She beamed. "Somehow I doubt it'll be that easy-" Eve started. Leo stepped out in front of her and dipped his head to Yven. "But if the other option is letting the continent get sucked into a void hole, we'll try our best." And so they were off... How will this story play out? Well, you'll just have to wait and find out now won't you... next ep :D
