Chapter 2 of my book:3 Chapter 2 Leah School is pretty boring. I mean like, it's just work, lunch, cheer, repeat. And it's always that until the weekend where you only get a 2 day break of reality and today was one of them. I lay in my bed watching some Youtube and my mom knocked on the door, like I asked her. It's nice that she respects my privacy. “Come in.’ I said, and she opened the door. Of course, she was wearing her usual leggings paired with a crop top. I don't understand why yet, she said she would tell me on my 30th birthday. But I'm past thirty. She just doesn't know it yet. She's also drinking her iced latte. Oat milk, since she's lactose. “Hey hon!” she says. “Hey ma.” I said back. Our conversations are usually very long but I'm not in the mood to talk. I just won’t tell her that.”Soooooo, I have something to tell you..” I'm confused. She sounds different-something is wrong. “What?”I say. “I got us tickets to Disneyland! Isn’t that exciting?” WHAT TICKETS TO DISNEYLAND?! On the outside I'm a little happy because why show all your emotions? They won’t care what you think. But on the inside I'm SOO happy!! “Nice! When are we going?” I ask. “Next month! And guess what!” uh oh. Something bad is gonna come next. I just know it. “What?” I ask. “Adrien and his family are coming too! Isn’t that exciting?” What. Oh nononononononononononono I have to go to Disneyland with ADRIEN? MY RIVAL? MY ENEMY? This can't be happening. “為什麼這種事會發生在我身上?..” I say, but she can't understand me because she doesn't speak Chinese. “That's great mom!..” I say. “Okay! See you later Leah!” She says then closes the door. I let out a deep breath that I knew I was definitely NOT going to let out near my mom. She would know something is up..Why Adrien's family of all people anyway? I’m sure my mom has more friends than HIS mom. Right? Lets just hope we are using his car. I am NOT going to sleep in the trunk again.
