Well booktok is a scam..it was the worst read of my life ANYWAY! we will not be talking about the plot armour or plot holes or the terrible writing or....the *cough* plagarism...we will be talking about the MCs Paedyn and Kai SPOILERS AHEAD! AND NO HATE TO LAUREN, I JUST WANNA SHARE MY OPINIONS! 1. Kai Azer( if character ai was a man) anyway...kai is the love interest. that's it. he doesnt really do much apart for being an enforcer and saving paedyn and always being "undone". he only exists to look and act attractive and doesnt have that much depth...he just says a lot of fancy words that just sound cringe and suddenly he is the ideal booktok bf..."forever be my undoing" SHUT UP also..he is a terrible bro..in Fearless instead of being there of Kitt he was busy having an affair with Paedyn(who is bro was marrying btw) and boombaying her under the willow tree. NO BUT WDYM YOU DID IT NEAR UR SIS GRAVE??? #redflag and wdym enemies to lovers..he literally knows her for a fortnight but is OBSSESSED with her...and yh love at first sight..but the book was presented as an enemies to lovers!! Kai also describes Paedyn in very wrong ways...stuff i cant say on her..he gets freaky smth and it can...er tolerable..but every thought somehow comes back to Paedyn. I GET IT. Ocean eyes. Drowning. Ruin. Collapse. Bro please think about taxes or something.”. he has trauma...but it lasted in Powerless( which was the best Kai arc imo) and smtimes pops up in the other two. I get he is fine and i agree....but he has nothing going for him towards the end of the triolgy..the only thing saving him is "the beast doesnt get the beauty" that is lwk cool but...yeah..Kai is lwk just c.ai like he talks at Paedyn in dramatic chatgpt-language instead of having grounded conversations and it always "dagger" "undone" "ruin" and it PMO! BUT YEAH! THAT'S IT....remeber it is my opinion and how i view the book..“Kai had SO much potential in Powerless. But by the end of the trilogy he stopped feeling like a character and started feeling like a collection of dramatic quotes for TikTok edits. PAEDYN ANALYSIS COMING SOON! bye berries!
