The leader stands tall upon the highrock, staring straight ahead. Nowhere in particular. Their expression is blank, emotion wiped from every feature. As if grief had stolen the soul from them. They are younger than anyone who had ever assumed this position, the burden that may very well break them. But everyone thought there was plenty time for them to grow up. The leader speaks, with a voice choked with ill-hidden tears. "Callingstar.. She's gone. Murdered, with the claw marks of a cat on her corpse. She's- she's.." They take a deep breath. "And whoever killed her took the shard." Another shaky inhale. "I know- I know Callingstar was beloved to you.. you all. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace. .. By the stars, by the shards, I hope all hope is not lost now." -- The medic stands in the dreamscape, facing down another cat with a pelt made from galaxies and night. "What do you mean you don't know who killed her?" The other cat gives a warm, reassuring smile. "We do not have her memories. She does not walk with us." The medic, despite faerself, is taken aback. "No, no, she was a good cat, she's not evil-" Fae stops, as the starry feline raises a paw to quiet her. "She does not walk with the stars, nor among the darkness." "Then where?!" "We do not know." The dreamscape shifts suddenly, grey emptiness floods the space. A silver hued void. The stars are consumed, till all that is left is the medic, alone. The nowhere speaks. "Do you wish for something?"
