Hello. Here’s another dumb vent Is it just me, or do you also feel like you are always the one reaching out to your friends? When I message them, sure they respond. But do they ever say something to me first? No. When they finally do, the answers are very short. I am always the first person to say hi. Yeah. That is how it goes for me. I have a few of my friend’s phone numbers, but I am always the one starting the conversation. I have a friend from my church group, and I see her a couple times a week and we are pretty close. But I am always the person who types first. She rarely wants to talk unless she needs something. Meanwhile, she is constantly talking to her other friends. Haha I have another close friend who goes to a different school. I have barely spent time with her for two years. Do I get a reply? Not at all. Even so, it makes me sad. Genuinely. I know it feels small, but I cannot help it.
