A message to all scratchers who are, or yet to become artists. Okie, I'll be honest with you. At first, this wasn't meant for any art contest - just something to take my mind off things during the holidays. Some things I even traced, because I found what I had done wasn't artistic or even TECHNICALLY perfect...but later on when I discovered these two art contests, I deleted everything I traced, and started from scratch (this scratch and drom the beginning !). I then realised that art doesn't have to be perfect, and almost never is! The small mistakes I made looked natural, and I have a lot more pride in this piece than the previous one, because I know that every detail in this art is my work and effort. Moving on to AI, known as Artificial Intelligence. I have never used AI in my art, and hopefully never will! You can look at it this way - the art that AI makes is simply a bunch of thousands of pixels forming together in a variety of colours to make an image that makes sense. There is no artistic brush strokes, effort or imagination, which is why a thousand human mistakes are better in art than the artless perfectionism of a robot. If you disagree with this, please no hate in the comments, I may have to report you if you do so. Please know too that I have nothing purely against AI...just I find we, humans can do SO MUCH BETTER. Even if we start with something as little as a stroke if a brush, there still is something to it. Thank you for coming down to the bottom of the 'notes and credits' ! I hope you try some art too! Enjoy! -
